The Providence Cancer Center has expanded the Breast Care Boutique for breast cancer surgical patients during their first year of being diagnosed with breast cancer.
Patients who have received a mastectomy, partial mastectomy, or lumpectomy are eligible to receive free post-surgical products on a one-time basis:
- 1 free post-surgical camisole
- 1 free prosthetic-bra
- 1 free prosthetic

Cancer patients receiving chemotherapy, may experience hair loss. Patients often consider wearing wigs for this reason, but a good quality wig can be expensive. Fortunately, through generous donors, Providence Cancer Center has a boutique that provides a free wig to patients with cancer-related hair loss who cannot afford to purchase their own. In a private boutique, skilled volunteers and Oncology Navigators assist you in selecting just the right wig.

WEL Program
Extra Toughs Program by Wild Energized Life (WEL), is a 12-week wellness program designed specifically for women survivors of breast and gynecologic cancer.
WEL Program includes:
-Weekly small group fitness classes
-Nutrition and mindset classes
-Small group counseling sessions
-A supportive community
WEL takes an innovative approach to providing health and wellness services that help you feel stronger, healthier, and supported.
Woman to Woman Peer Support Group (by OCRA)
OCRA’s Woman to Woman program offers a helping hand to those facing gynecologic cancer. From diagnosis to treatment and beyond the mentors have helped countless women and families navigate the ups and downs of this disease. With personalized one-on-one interactions, the trained volunteers offer a listening ear, advice, reassurance and a comforting presence.

Alaska CyberKnife
At Alaska CyberKnife Center, our goal is to help our patients beat cancer and live happy, healthy, and fulfilled lives. Our CyberKnife treatment center, located within Providence Cancer Center, is the first and only Anchorage oncology center to deliver precise and effective radiation treatment for a variety of different cancers. Offering treatments to both operable and inoperable tumors, the CyberKnife Radiosurgery System delivers non-invasive treatments in no more than five sessions, after which our patients have shown improved results, a decrease in side effects, and an improved quality of life.
